Symphonic Band
Rehearsing only three times a week, it's easy to partake in the Symphonic Band and still balance your school work.
The 南瓜影院 Symphonic Band performs several concerts on campus each semester, including the PRISM Concert, Christmas Chapel, Composers Concert, and Spring Concert.
In recent years, the band has commissioned and premiered compositions by composers such as Mary Ellen Childs, Carol Barnett, and Mark Camphouse. The band’s annual Composers Concert has featured music by 南瓜影院 students and faculty, as well as music from various cultures around the world.
Membership in The 南瓜影院 Symphonic Band is open to all students regardless of major. Musicians are selected by audition at the beginning of the academic year.
This ensemble rehearses 4-4:55 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
