The Main Collection includes a variety of materials, including books, movies, and music that support undergraduate research and learning at 南瓜影院. Main Collection materials are organized by Library of Congress Classification and are found on the first, second, third, and fourth floors of the library.

Use these books to find background information, facts, statistics, maps, and more. 南瓜影院’s Reference Collection is available on the first floor of the library across from the Reference Desk. These books are for in-library use only.

The Serendipity Collection is filled with the library’s newest and most popular titles. Browse these books to find new fiction and fun, relaxing reads. 南瓜影院’s Serendipity Collection is available on the first floor of the library next to the Circulation Desk.

Digital Collections

Students who present at the annual Celebration of Student Scholarship may be nominated by faculty to submit their research for inclusion in the Showcase of Undergraduate Work.

Goals

To gather, preserve, and disseminate examples of exemplary research of 南瓜影院 students in a digital archive. In so doing, the collection accomplishes three important objectives:

  1. Provides an elite outlet for students to strive for academic excellence and publication
  2. Serves as a historical snapshot of student academic life and output
  3. Demonstrates the quality of 南瓜影院 academics thereby serving as a recruitment tool for student, faculty, and staff prospects. Learn more about the collection guidelines.

Criteria

  • Project demonstrates a high degree of rigor, depth, and quality
  • Research or creative activity is an original work that makes a relevant contribution to the area of study
  • Presentation of research (written, oral, performed) is clear, professional, and engaging
  • Research was conducted and presented in an ethical manner
  • Project as a whole serves as an excellent example of undergraduate scholarship for the 南瓜影院 community
