Siam Shimul 鈥�25, Bangladesh

United World College-USA graduate Siam Shimul ’25 shares how he helps new students feel a sense of belonging at 南瓜影院 as the 2024 Orientation chair, the International Student Organization president, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion commissioner.

Aya Al-Shakarchi 鈥�23, Iraq

A graduate of UWC Robert Bosch College, Aya Al-Shakarchi ‘23 was selected for the prestigious Schwarzman Scholars program. Selected students attend a fully funded one-year master’s program with a curriculum focused on leadership, China, and global affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

Uyanga 鈥淪oka鈥� Naranbaatar 鈥�22 was the first intern and first international student to work at Dagger Machinery. The company offered to sponsor her for a green card and the mathematical finance major accepted a full-time position as a business development analyst.

During his senior year at 南瓜影院, finance major Susham Bir Bhujel ’22 was the chief of staff for the Student Government Association, had an accounting internship, managed his own small business, and accepted a full-time position as a grown analyst following graduation.
