History in Art II: The Renaissance to Impressionism
Dr. Susan Lee
History in Art II with Susan Lee was such a fun art history class to take! I enjoyed seeing work that was familiar and learning more about some of my favorite artists while also being exposed to artists I was less familiar with, as well as learning about the religious and cultural contexts in which different works were created. Dr. Lee's lectures were fantastically fun, and I found her insight really interesting. She taught a wide variety of work, so many of which I just adored! One of the most unique parts of the class was when she brought in Dr. Richter to teach about intersectionality between art and music in different time periods a couple of times over the semester.
